Bee Sharp is a free daily word puzzle game with a music twist. Each day a fresh set of 7 letters is arranged in a honeycomb grid — your goal is to find as many valid words as possible. Every word must include the highlighted golden letter, be at least 4 letters long, and can reuse letters as many times as you like.
What sets Bee Sharp apart from other word puzzles is the music word bonus. Over 500 music-related words — instruments like oboe and lute, theory terms like chord and clef, genres like jazz and blues — earn an extra +3 points and appear highlighted in purple in your found words list. The more music you know, the higher you'll climb.
4-letter words score 1 point. Words with 5 or more letters score 1 point per letter. A pangram — a word that uses all 7 letters — earns a +7 bonus. Music words earn an additional +3 on top of their regular score.
Your rank is based on your score as a percentage of the day's total possible points. There are 9 music-themed ranks to climb: Rookie, Roadie, Groupie, Busker, Musician, Performer, Rockstar, Maestro, and Virtuoso. Reaching higher ranks also unlocks sound packs — audio themes for the game recorded by the developer.
Casual mode has no time limit — find words at your own pace. Competitive mode gives you 60 seconds to score as many points as possible. Both modes save your progress separately, so you can play both every day. Switch modes any time in Settings.
